For the next two years I will be living and working in Yaounde, Cameroon. I want to let everyone know of my experience living in this country. As a result, I have decided to create a blog where I can write about my everyday experiences. I will post as often as I can. Come as much as you would like and feel free to leave comments. I hope you enjoy.

We drove another 27 kilometers past Esseka and through the forest to get to Hikoa-Malep. The roads are unpaved, providing a bumpy ride. We splashed through puddles and drove past billions of trees.
Jennifer, Thank you again for another peek into your time in Cameroon. We marvel at the experiences and your very clear descriptions of the travels. The Chief of the Village, and his son, and uncle bring a great deal of admiration from us for their generosity and hospitality extended to you and the class. It is a long way from our home near Montesano, Washington but your descriptions bring the area around Cameroon into our world also. It is humbling to realize that there are such good people all around the world in its outlying areas. Most Sincerely, Bob & Chris
